Regulates pressure against earaches during flight
About half of air passengers know the uncomfortable feeling of pressure in the ear or even the pain that occurs during take-off and landing. Do children, in particular, suffer? often with pain in the ears during landing. Sometimes these problems last for days after the flight and thus spoil your vacation or affect an important business meeting.
How SANOHRA ear plugs work® Fly?
After reaching cruising level, the pressure in the cabin corresponds to an air pressure of approximately 2000 meters above sea level. During the descent and landing, the air pressure in the cabin increases again very quickly. In this situation, the ear must respond. The Eustachian tube that connects the nasopharynx with the middle ear must ensure the increase of air pressure in the middle ear through a so-called active opening. If this does not happen quickly enough, the eardrum will bulge and cause pain. If used 45 minutes before landing, SANOHRA® Fly forms a pressure chamber in front of the eardrum. The earplugs being equipped with a specially designed microfilter, ensure that the air pressure in the ear canal increases much more slowly than in the cabin.
Demonstrated effectiveness of SANOHRA earplugs ® Fly
The effectiveness of SANOHRA earplugs® Fly was proven at the hospital of the University of Medicine Chariteé from Berlin, in an extensive study conducted on over 500 TUIfly passengers:
- 90% of all subjects reported a significant improvement in symptoms.
- 80% of them were completely pain free.
- < span>over 80% of subjects would recommend SANOHRA Fly earplugs to friends.
Using SANOHRA earplugs ® Fly
Yes? you felt pressure in your ears and ear pain during take-off and ascent, it is recommended to wear hearing protection before take-off and to take it off again approximately 30 minutes after take-off. It is only then that the cruising altitude is normally reached and the pressure conditions in the cabin do not change until the descent begins. For short-haul flights of less than 1 hour and a half, we recommend wearing SANOHRA® Fly throughout the flight, especially since the hearing protection also has a noise dampening effect.
You should definitely use earplugs 45 minutes before the planned landing, as the cabin air pressure rises rapidly again once the aircraft leaves cruise altitude and î begins to descend. We recommend that you remove the SANOHRA Fly earplugs only when you arrive at the airport building, to give your Eustachian tubes enough time to equalize the pressure.
CAUTION: For reasons of hygiene and health protection, this product cannot be returned once the box has been unsealed!
