LTP Glaze Protector is a surface waterproofing agent (after application, it forms a micro-film, with a 'freshly washed' appearance, very resistant to wear and stains), intended for all natural stone surfaces with a glossy finish. The product does not require maintenance, protects and beautifies the surface. Delivery is done quickly and easily by courier with cash on delivery.
LTP GLAZE PROTECTOR Benefits
Resistant to traffic, dust and non-corrosive stains, with low maintenance
Intended for interior spaces
Gives a 'freshly washed' appearance
Can also be used for:
- ceramics;
- natural stone;
- unpolished porcelain.
How to use:
Newly installed surfaces - make sure that the surface to be treated (waterproofed) is completely clean, dry and free of grout or adhesives. For prior cleaning see LTP Grimex or if the surface is seriously dirty and allows it (e.g. antiqued, brushed, flamed or even unpolished surface) use LTP Grout Stain Remover.
Existing surfaces - must first be cleaned and degreased with LTP Grimex taking care to rinse very well. Leave to dry very well (12-24 hours). Any moisture retained in the grout joints can cause the LTP Glaze Protector to dry opaque and prevent the waterproofing from reaching full maturity and hardness.
Application:
Apply using a cloth dampened with solution. Pour the contents into a separate container. Soak the cloth in the solution and wring it out. Fold the cloth and apply evenly to the surface without rubbing. Apply until a thin, even layer has been created (on average 3 times). Allow to dry (+/- 1 hour). Do not apply too many coats as this may cause unsightly build-ups and/or reduce the effectiveness of the product. It matures after approximately one hour, but it will take less than three days to fully mature, to become fully water-resistant. If in doubt, experiment on spare tiles to establish the correct application method and the optimal number of coats before general use. Rinse the floor with a cloth with water after use.
Maintenance:
It is extremely easy to maintain with the universal detergent LTP Floorshine (this maintains the protection of the waterproofing for a long time). In areas where the waterproofing becomes worn, apply more LTP Glaze Protector. At some point it is desirable to completely restore the waterproofing. In this case use LTP Grimex to strip the original waterproofing before re-waterproofing.
Consumption: 1L = 30-40 sq m per liter (one layer) depending on the porosity of the substrate.
Caution:
Keep out of reach of children. Store in a place protected from frost. Avoid extreme temperatures.
Avoid using strong detergents to wash surfaces treated with LTP Glaze Protector.
Do not apply outdoors where it has direct contact with UV rays!
