Mcdodo FM Modulator Bluetooth Dual USB Black (display, 3.1A, bluetooth 4.2)
The FM Modulator Bluetooth Dual USB from Mcdodo connects to the cigarette lighter socket of the car and using FM frequencies, it can play music from a USB stick or from your mobile device if it is connected to it via Bluetooth. Also, if the modulator is connected via Bluetooth to the phone, you can take/reject calls using the multifunctional button and hear the sound of the call in the car's audio system.
To set the modulator, open and set on the car's radio system a empty frequency. Then choose the same frequency on the modulator using the multifunction button: press and hold for two seconds until the displayed frequency flashes and then turn left or right to increase/decrease the frequency (*Note: Choose a frequency as far as possible from the local FM frequencies for a sound as high quality as possible).
To connect via Bluetooth, look for "MCDODO-CC-688" and connect to it. Then the music from your mobile device can be heard in the car's audio system.
If it is not used for playback from the stick, it can simultaneously charge two devices thanks to the two USB ports. The USB1 port supports charging with max 2.1A, and the USB2 port supports charging with max 1A or playback from a USB stick.
The LED display shows the car battery voltage in real time, thus checking when replacement is necessary of it (if a voltage in the range: 14.8V - 13.2V is displayed, the car is on and transmits a normal voltage, the values in the range: 12.8V - 12.0V are displayed when the car is stopped, and if values below 12.0V are displayed, they should replace the battery as soon as possible). The voltage is displayed for 3 seconds when the modulator is inserted into the cigarette lighter socket if it is normal, and if it is not it will be displayed intermittently.
The built-in smart chip provides protection against short circuit, overload, overheating or other interferences that can affect the correct charging of your devices.
The order of priority for media playback is the Blueooth mode and then the USB stick. To change the playback mode, press the multifunctional button for 5 seconds.
Control of the music playlist and calls is done using the multifunctional button as follows:
Calls:- press briefly to answer
- during the call press briefly to hold a call
- press for two seconds to reject an incoming call
- redial the last number by double pressing the multifunctional button
Music:- short press the multifunctional button for play/pause
- press the left/right arrows to change melody
- turn the multifunction knob left/right to adjust the volume -/+
If you stop the car or remove the modulator from the socket after restarting or reinserting it, it will play the melody that was left on the stick, on the same frequency.
